Dear ELSAnians,

It is with undeniable pleasure to be able to invite you to the greatest Polish event of the year 2009: the National Council Meeting of ELSA Poland! Almost a year ago, back in November 2008, the Local Group of ELSA Poznań was granted the organisation of XL NCM of ELSA Poland. Since then the Organising Committee has been in constant pursuit of making these four upcoming days an unforgetable experience for its participants.

The XL Polish NCM will take place 26-29th November in Sieraków Wielkopolski – a lovely small town at the lake in the vicinity of 50 km from Poznań.

Please, bear in mind that POLISH Council Meeting cannot be matched with anything you have experienced so far and it means you will have to prepare yourself for the company of approximately 200 other participants coming from 15 Polish Local Groups to work in 8 Workshops [additional one is for the Directors for Human Recources] on Friday and determine vital issues for our National Group in Saturday’s plenary session.

This NCM will be very special for ELSA Poland: not only will we elect the National Board of 2010, but we will also celebrate at the Friday’s Ball Masque the fact it will be already our 40th NCM!

The assembly of delegates will be accompanied by the Gathering of our Alumni which will be held at the same time in Poznań. Most likely our predecessors will not let us down and visit the members in Sieraków, storm the Saturday plenary session and perform Johnny’s song on all available tables [sic!] as tradition of prior Polish NCMs indicates...

In conclusion: for all of this and much more come to Poland in November! Do not miss the chance of getting unforgettable memories from the one of a kind NCM!
